Default Signet of Removal

1 cast 5 recharge

If target ally is under the effects of any enchantment remove 1 condition and hex.

Pros:

Signet so its free

1 sec activation time

5 recharge makes it very spammable and can be reduced with mantra of inscripts

None Attribute so it needs no attribute invest me to make it work.

Cons:

Target has to be enchanted.

Signet so Fast Cast does not affect activation time.

Now this is a very strong skill. This is much better than empathic removal and expell hexes.

looks like will be used by mo 2ndary... it's finding it's way on my dervish's skill bar (though i still think CoP is better for a dervish... even at 0df)

However, unlike Expel, it only removes one hex. Expel is still superior.

Yes but what happens when you don't run into any hexs. GvG is heavy condition pressure.

We use expel (or did) in our build. Many matches it was not needed.

However, condtion removal in GvG is usually more than enough. Many teams pack Draw, to ward against last minute Flashes and Deep Wounds. Now, this is a 1/4 second cast time, much faster than Signet of Removal. Also, Mend Condition heals for a significant amount with a condition removed, something Signet of Removal does not. Expel is also much more useful when a hex team DOES swing around, or even a balanced team which uses a bit more hexes than usual.

With Draw Conditions and Mend Condition flying around, Signet of Removal becomes quite redundant. Admittedly, it does become more useful against a condition heavy team, such as perhaps dual rangers or a death Necro, but a Draw on an Elementalist works much better without sacrificing an Elite.

I would say it's even to Emphatic Removal; keep in mind that ER can remove 2 conditions and 2 hexes in a single cast. You can be luck to get a fast recharge with Bzzyr's Benediction, or 10/10 weapons. Given some builds rely on tainted flesh, Signet is a really good option. There are so many new tempting monk elites now that made factions look like crap.

Shame it's elite. My bonder would really like to bring it. I suppose the healer in a group with a bonder could still find it useful if they didn't want another elite.
